What happens at our face to face Networking?

What happens at our in-person Networking events?

Business networking is a process of building relationships with other business professionals and like-minded individuals to exchange information and ideas, develop new business opportunities, and find potential customers or partners. The best way to network is to get involved in local business events, attend industry trade shows, or join a professional organization or business association. You can also connect with other businesses online through social media, business directories, or online forums.

Stage1

Book online

Book your place online.

Some events will be free whilst others may have a charge to cover the costs of the venue and refreshments.

Then all you need to do is turn up on the day.

Grab yourself a coffee

Grab yourself a cuppa

Start your networking with a drink.   It's also a great place to start up an opening conversation with fellow delegates.

Networking

Put up your banner

If you have a banner, you are welcome to put it up around the edge of the room, as long as it's in a safe place and away from fire exits.   If you have any brochures,  marketing materials or even a small number of samples, feel free to lay them out on the table provided.

A brief Introduction

It's your chance to tell everyone who you are and what you can do.

We normally give you the floor, for up to a minute to tell everyone how amazing you, and your services are.

Casual Networking

Break time

It's time to top up your drink and time to get chatting.

Now you know what everyone does, it's time to mingle and start down the road to collaboration.

Monmouthshire Business

Guest Speakers

At Every meeting, a guest speaker will give a short presentation.

The speakers will either be industry experts, inspirational people or members of the Monmouthshire Business Network itself.

The presentation will usually end with a question and answers session.

Afterwards

After the main session is over, feel free to continue chatting and collaborating.   Dependent on the venue,  there may also be an opportunity to setup your laptop and work or hold an impromptu  meeting.
